Groundwork Caerphilly Wins Bid to Regenerate Community Facility in Pontllanfraith 07/09/2010

Groundwork Caerphilly has been awarded £731,971 by the Big Lottery Fund to take ownership of Ty Mynyddislwyn from Caerphilly County Borough Council, and run activities including employment and training advice, environmental volunteering and the promotion of sustainability, local craft enterprises are also set to benefit.

Councillor Paul Rogers has been working with the Reverend Noel Carter to improve the Church grounds at St Mary’s, Brymbo. Groundwork’s Greencare project came to help and has made a real difference by creating a new circular route around the church grounds improving accessibility.

Groundwork transforms school grounds at Ysgol Heulfan 14/07/2010

Groundwork has transformed the grounds and garden at Ysgol Heulfan in Gwersyllt, Wrexham as part of their Greencare Rural Wrexham Project. Groundwork involved parents, pupils and volunteers, who all worked really hard to make the changes at the school.
