Groundwork Caerphilly’s Solid Ground programme has supported the Hafod Deg Day Centre in the creation of its new Community Garden

Groundwork transforms school grounds at Ysgol Heulfan 14/07/2010

Groundwork has transformed the grounds and garden at Ysgol Heulfan in Gwersyllt, Wrexham as part of their Greencare Rural Wrexham Project. Groundwork involved parents, pupils and volunteers, who all worked really hard to make the changes at the school.

Green Dragon Recognition for Trust and Farm Breaks New Ground 07/07/2010

The National Trust has successfully achieved Green Dragon Standard Level 3 in recognition of its environmental performance in Wales.The achievement means that over 240 historic buildings and over 50 holiday cottages managed by the Trust in Wales are Green Dragon accredited.

An open day was held today on Wednesday 30th June 2010 at 2:30pm at Llys Eleanor sheltered housing in Shotton to celebrate the newly created garden at the sheltered housing which has been made possible thanks to Groundwork’s Greencare project and Flintshire’s University of the Third Age.
