Groundwork in conjunction with Cadbury as part of their Future Footprints Programme are holding a free energy and carbon reduction information day at Chirk Parish Hall on Tuesday 17th August between 2pm and 7pm and people are invited to drop in at a convenient time.
Free refreshments including cheese and wine will be available, and the event is aimed at the whole family with children’s activities and a colouring competition. There will also be energy displays with information on how to save energy, and a film showing of "An inconvenient truth".
People attending are asked to bring along their energy bills to calculate their carbon footprint and to receive tips on how to save money. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
