Community Garden Volunteer Days at Connah's Quay (8/3/2010) Community Garden Volunteer Days at Connah's Quay

Groundwork in conjunction with Quayscapes Community Garden are running three active volunteer days on Thursday 11th March, Saturday 13th March and Tuesday 16th March between 10am – 2pm. The Community Garden is situated behind Somerfield in Connah’s Quay Town Centre. Everyone is welcome, young and old and no previous experience of gardening is required. Free refreshments  will be provided.

We are hoping to set up an active and productive gardening club with a view to the local community growing their own fruit and vegetables to take home. It is a great opportunity to get fit, grow your own produce and save money. If you are interested in joining in,  please just turn up on the day with suitable clothes and footwear for gardening.

For more information please contact Ally Bedford at Groundwork on 01978 757524.
