Community Garden Taster Session at Connahs Quay on Monday 1st March 2010 (15/2/2010) Community Garden Taster Session at Connahs Quay on Monday 1st March 2010

Groundwork in conjunction with QuayCAT (Connah’s Quay Community Action Team) are running a Gardening Club Taster Session on Monday March 1st at the Connah’s Quay Community Garden (behind Somerfield) now called Quayscapes, between 10am – 3pm.

Everyone is welcome, young and old and no previous experience of gardening is required. We are hoping to set up an active and productive gardening club with a view to the local community growing their own fruit and vegetables to take home. It is a great opportunity to get fit, grow your own produce and save money.

If you are interested in joining in, please just turn up on the day with suitable clothes and footwear for gardening. If you require more information please contact Ally Bedford at Groundwork on 01978 757524.
