Groundwork and QuayCat (Connah’s Quay Community Action Team) invite the local community to an open day to find out what is planned for Connah’s Quay Wetlands on Saturday 30th January 2010 between 10am – 12pm at the Youth Club next to Connah’s Quay High School.
The Wetlands, which are behind Ffordd Llanarth shopping precinct (the old Kwik-Save site), are to be developed to improve pedestrian access, increase biodiversity on the site and reduce fly tipping. The open day will be a drop in event with free drinks and food available. There will be a wildlife talk from a local Ecologist and we would welcome contributions from local people about local wildlife. Everyone is welcome and we hope the community will come along to find out what is going on.
