Connahs Quay Wetland Volunteer Day Friday 12th February 2010 10am -2pm (21/1/2010) Connahs Quay Wetland Volunteer Day Friday 12th February 2010 10am -2pm

Groundwork and QuayCAT (Connah’s Quay Community Action Team) are holding a community practical volunteer day on Friday 12th February between 10am – 2pm. During the day we are hoping to clear some of the site and create a shallow pond area.

Volunteers should meet near the entrance off The Parks Road at 10 am (parking is unavailable here) or if later at the Connah's Quay Wetland Site (behind Ffordd Llanarth shopping precinct at the old Kwik-Save site) during the rest of the day. Free refreshments will be available and volunteers should come suitably dressed for muddy conditions.

For more information contact Alison Bedford at Groundwork on 01978 757524 or Lisa Fearn at QuayCAT on 07971832885.
